ABOUT CHRIS SHACK
Chris Shack has been a professional home inspector for 10 years. During that time, Chris has inspected over 4,500 houses in the DFW and the surrounding areas.
Chris holds state licenses in termite inspection and specializes in historic homes and investment home inspections.
While working as an inspector, Chris has studied building diagnostics and building science to create a system-based inspection that intensely covers all aspects of the home. Chris has also trained and managed other home inspectors at a Dallas based multi-inspector firm.
As a strong proponent in continued education in building science, Chris has advanced certifications in Thermography, roof inspection, and pool inspection. Foundation elevations, infrared scans, termite evaluations, using state of the art tools and technology, are all included as part of a standard inspection.
As a fellow real estate investor, he understands the importance of accurate repair costs and is happy to consult his clients at every inspection. In addition to the inspection, he provides an in-depth report that has been touted as one of the best in the industry.
When starting Shack Inspections, Chris had a vision of providing an inspection that was thorough, easy to understand, most importantly, not overwhelming for clients. Understanding that a home a very large investment, Chris does not take the responsibility of home inspecting lightly, which quickly becomes evident from start to finish.
